Details

Re-engergized from a long summer break, hadshot haheizar returns for a busy fall season ready to take the world's dancefloors by storm. Kicking things off is one of hadshot's brightest rising stars, Schatsi, showcasing his distinctive psycho-elektro sound with his debut ep release, "rhythm machine". While the name Schatsi may be unfamiliar to some, the man behind the project, Vohi Oshrat is no stranger to the electronic music world. Together with Dj Goblin, Yoni has released countless tracks under the well-known moniker Psysex. With 3 full-length albums and tribute remix cd to their name as well as tracks appearing on the most influential labels, Psysex has been a household name in the world of psychedelic trance since the late-90s. Yoni has recently pushed into alternative musical territories with his Schatsi and Ace Ventura projects, infusing electro and progressive grooves with his signature warped touch. As Schatsi, he has already appeared on several compilations (including the electro'punk cd & lp) as well as taking on remix duties for electro superstar Mylo's imprint, breastfed recordings. For the remix, Israeli idm artist faction explores fully new musical terrain adding their own signature abstraction into the mix. Residing in Tel Aviv, Vair Etziony and Rani Golan have been working in the studio together since they met in 1999. Sharing a common desire to display the complexities of everyday life through the palette of sound, the sound of faction incorporates a wide range of influences, including Brian Eno, my Bloody Valentine, Boards of Canada and Ulrich Schnauss, to name a few. Their debut album, the end of Tel Aviv, was released in 2004 the summer on the popular British idm label neo ouija to wide acclaim.
