Reality is a Hallucination is the long awaited, stunning debut album from Japanese sound wizard Gu, brought to you by Russia-based Insomnia records. You?ll find here everything you may expect from such a collaboration between some of the most vanguard players on the current trance-scene. The album is a cyberpunk manifesto consisting of 10 twisted technological anthems that can make anyone dance, even your beloved grandma. This full-power psychedelic journey is full of crispy sounds, rolling basslines and deep mystic multi-layered melodies that we all love to hear so much at peak party hours. It comes out as a logical result of few years collaboration between Gu and Insomnia records, including a couple of crazy forest parties in the Moscow area, where the artist successfully kicked some dust out of the wild local crowd, and reflects his last few years of experiments with sound synthesis and playing live sets worldwide.
