The artists behind the project Vision & Canedy are the long time techno dj Marc Vision and the producer Marco Mellman, both based in Cologne. Collecting techno music since 1991, Marc Vision began spinning records in the small club of the legendary Warehouse in Cologne in 1993. Beneath his residencies he played on clubs and parties all over the world. Marco Mellmann finds his roots in music styles like Hip Hop, Roots Reggae und Dancehall Reggae. In the end of the 80's he was infected by the House and Techno virus, being a regular guest in clubs around Cologne. Later, in the mid of 1990, he began producing his own sound. Nowadays he defines the style of his productions as a mixture of progressive trance, with influences from UK- and psy- trance. We Love Sunday / Mahogany is the first 12" release of Vision & Canedy, showing their developement to the dark side of progressive trance.
