Spirit Zone proudly presents the second album by one of Germany's leading digital composers. The artist behind this project is Michael Kohlbecker. With many chart ranking remixes to his credit (ie. Bob Marley, Anne Clark, Jam & Spoon), Michael Kohlbecker is one of the most versatile producers to have come out of Frankfurt. "No Promises" is a comprehensive array of modern trance techno in Fuenf D style delivered with the "Special K" note. This album consists of self explanatory sound in which Michael Kohlbecker's musical genious transports the listener through its stereoscopic dimensions, crossing the divide somewhere between underground classics and chart ranking status quo. Up for starters are some effortless groovy twists and turns ("It's Five D-B"). Spanking techno beats and clubby kicks ("Its hot") cross over into eastern sun shine trance. One of the highlights is the uplifting "Waporuppet" fusing old school trance sounds and and chosen Eternal Basement elements into solid technogenic dancefloor chemistry.
