Continually exhibiting the cutting edge of psychedelic trance, Spirit Zone Recordings' ultimate compilation series continues in its eigth edition. As always trance and ambient tracks find their place on two discs, covering an end to end cross section of the genre's listening and dance music developments. The 8th dance disk is packed with sonic sorcery from the full-on sector. Aural intoxication is induced by the likes of Talamasca with "Sage Incense", GMS "At the End of a Rainbow" - featured on the forthcoming album or Spirallianz 's canny "A Fugitive", previously only on vinyl. Space Tribeó hit track "Kickin' up some Dust" from the "Shapeshifter" album is remixed to new levels and Electric Universe soars higher with "Embrace It". Rounding of this dance selection, Double Dragon"Cabin Fever", Noosphere"Captain Proton" and Bamboo Forest 's "Friends" even out the peaks with some grooving psy kicks for the morning hours. Assorted sounds on the chill disk by regulars Grey Area and Alien Mutation are joined by several new names, bringing together a gratifying impression of ambient music. Beautiful ambience by Sebastian Mullaert's Ooze project "Meeting with strange species" Bloatsucher 's "Trip to the Bottom" and Jens Buchert's "down again" rounds off another global perspective on ambient and modern chilly beats.
