Magnetrixx is Stefan Lewin with the assistance of Heike Fahrmeyer from Germany. Stefan's musical development now extends over more than 10 years and the style is best described as a balance between seemingly opposite influences: on the one hand, it has the minimalistic driving grooves of techno, yet it remains true to the building structures of trance. It's futuristic, tribal, and somewhat mysterious. But above all, it's deeply hypnotic! The sound features an emphasis on fat kicks, ass shaking bass-lines, trippy sound effects, and clean tribal grooves. The secret to the Magnetrixx sound is in how they use the tension of opposing elements to their advantage.
