Dirty Motion is Frozen Ghost Hiyarant, both valley spawned producers currently residing in...
...Cape Town, South Africa. Having both lived near each other, and both experimenting with their own individual styles, the idea arose to try combine the raw combative fury of Hiyarant, along with the haunting psycho-delic melody of Frozen Ghost.
The result in one word was Power, and in early 2007 the name Dirty Motion was formed. Like throwing gasoline onto a fire, their aim was simply to push listeners to the limit with their explosive high-octane, high energy, high impact sound and showcase all the beauty that can be found in the chaos, exploring the perfect balance between the darkness and the light In early May 2007, the first single entitled 'Lock Down' was released on Noize Conspiracy Records, followed by a number of singles on Yabai Records.
Since then the name Dirty Motion has spread like an electrical surge across dancefloors worldwide, and the demented duo have both gone to release their individual solo projects (Frozens 2nd album 'Edible Technique' on Yabai Records; and Hiyarant his debut album 'Collision' on MMD Records), after which the decision was made to make Dirty Motion a full-time project.
With forthcoming releases out on labels like MMD Records and Yabai Records, as well as their debut album set for release on Yabai Records later this year, these two are not going to stopDirty Emotion!
