Originally from South-West France, composer Florian Sériot (TOIRES) has been cultivating adventurous sound expeditions in his original tracks, and performing renowned festivals world-wide both accompanied by his live orchestra as well as solo, since the late eighties. His spiritually enriched tracks have been contributed to countless compilations on labels such as Blue Room, East-West, P.I.A.S, Chall'O Music, Totally Eclipsed Recordings, Twisted UK, Ultravista, Dakini and Six Degrees records. His lengthy discography of ingeniously-crafted compositions in the ethno-electro genre, and his outstanding talent, have led him to compose tracks with Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Natacha Atlas, Prem Joshua, Claude Challe, Irina Mikhailova and Total Eclipse, among many others over the last decade. *A little note from the artist : " The majmar is an ethnic cooking utensil (a "brasero" made of earthenware) used in Morroco among other countries. It is used to bake, heat and re-heat...It can also be used to burn incense, called " prolr" in Morrocain. I have used it for many years now, its become part of daily life... Finally, after my albums influenced by water (OUED), sand (SANÄTI), I present you fire; MAJMAR, the "melting-pot" with mixes and re-mixes... "
