Ovnimoon Records presents this album from a new progressive psytrance and psychedelic downtempo Project Convergent Evolution which was created in 2013 year by Helga Kristinsson the wife of Runar Kristinsson (aka Unusual Cosmic Process, Psypheric, Optical Report) Helga is a professional musician and plays the violin and piano in the orchestra of her hometown and Evolutio is her debut full-lenght electronic album. The idea for the creation of 'Convergent Evolution' came under the influence of Dougal Dixon's book 'Man after man anthropology future.' Dougal Dixon is a British writer and popularizer of science. The Science of convergent evolution it seems to me very entertaining, deep and unusual. So I have decided to express this phenomenon with the help of music. The names of some of the tracks correspond to the names chapters Dougal Dixon. For example: Ancient, Aquamorph, Homo Caelestis, Reptilian. And the album title is a Latin version of the word evolution. I want to thank my beloved husband Runar who introduced me to trance culture and inspired my creative process.
