Andreas Henning aka shaman is swedens most promising young talent… young, but not new on the scene.. already on the first compilation of digital structures we can find one of his tracks.. since then, he made aware of himself with numerous 12" and compilation releases on labels like ds, domo, dance'n dust, novatekk, yse, manta and plusquam, just to name a few.. started producing back in 1998 with the musicsoftware 'Fasttracker', he made first experiences of creating music on his own and directly got hooked on it.. after a while he got bored and wanted a better program.. this resulted in finding the more versatile software 'Buzz'.. still somewhat of a tracker program but with the possibilities of synths and effects, Buzz clearly was a step forward.. after many songs in Buzz, friends persuaded him to make a demo and send it to a record label. so he did and this resulted in his first release SAFARI.. since then, he continously developed his own special style.. lets call it the shaman beat.. common to all his tracks is the strong base of driving phat beats and deep deep basslines, which create in combination the typical rolling groove..
