The roots of Kiwa go back to the year 1996, when the Helsinki based duo started working together.After performing together under various names they settled for Kiwa in the year 1999. After spending a whole year perfecting their debut album our Helsinki runners are ready to present the results to the global audience. Markku Louhio and Matti Elsinen have developed their deep trademark sound further and their production skills are now taking the Finnish psychedelic sound one step forward. The main focus remains on the funky, even housey rhythms and huge fat basslines, spiced up by an ethnic flavour and smooth electronic soundscapes.The album is not just a collection of tracks but a well planned rollercoaster journey covering several different styles from psychedelic nice breaks to rolling 4/4 dancefloor stormers. "Dreamtime Enhancer", an album manifesting true creativity and innovation in the days of most psychedelic dancemusic just using its old recipies over and over again.
