Jovian Orchestra is the debut album from American producer Prismaspect. Thematically spurred from the ammonia clouds of the solar system?s most prominent planet, Jovian Orchestra is an experiment into psytrance unshackled by convention. Instead of honing in on one style or sound, Prismaspect instead takes the listener on a sonic expedition?mashing together various psychedelic timbres into one cohesive vision. Energetic basslines and electric synth noises fill up the speakers to the point of breaking one moment, giving way to lush soaring melodies the next. There are hints of both dark and light here; nighttime fullon speeds, intricate darkpsy sounds, and morning-psy melodic content.
