The feedback on this tune – the ‘Low Steps Balearic Breaks’ mix of Shpongle’s ‘Dorset Perception’ has been crazy; originally a re-edit that was done to play in the Lo-Step’s live /dj set, it’s speeded up breaks add to Shpongle’s existing latin mayhem giving the mix that essential X factor that has caused all the biggest breaks/prog. Dj’s to go mental about this underground legend. Sasha says it ha s been “the biggest track of the summer”, Big Up’s for track have also come from Nick Warren James Zabiela, Anthony Pappa, & Dave Seaman. The support has built up so much Twisted have pressed a limited 12”[TWST23] of this highly sought track, which has become a classic after play in Ibiza and from Sasha and James Zabiela live recently on Radio 1 [Annie Nightingale show]. The single is released in conjunction with the Shpongle Remixed album [TWSCD23] is a showcase of Simon Posford’s [aka Shpongle/Hallucinogen] infinite skills and is completed by a track from their forthcoming third album, ‘Beija Flor’, due summer 2004.
