Mo-Shic Shlomi was born in Haifa, in the northern part of Israel. With early influences of Spanish music, his mother sang to him as a child, and the sounds of guitar played by his older brother, it was inevitable for Mo-Shic to turn to music choosing his own personal style of House music. After returning from a long stay in NY where he had drew inspiration from one of the best artists on the NY scene - Sasha, Digweed & Tenaglia to name only a few - Mo-Shic released his first single under the Argonout name. Argonout was Mo-Shic's first project and from there it was a short way to releasing numerous singles through Cyber Records (NL) some of which were included in the finest compilations series worldwide, from Gatecrashers to Global Underground and many more. During this time Moshic had a deepening urge to give birth to his own individual sound, leading to a much darker and more tribalistic atmosphere. The Argonout project paved the way and Mo Shic's unique sound soon became an underground phenomenon amongst the progressive house community. DJ Magazine UK heard the buzz and its editor made a interview with Moshic and accompany him for a few days. This resulted in a 3 page article and Moshic was granted the honour of compiling & mixing the 1st CD in the series "Wold Series", showcasing rising talents from different countries. For the past 5 years Moshic has been touring the globe, casting his spell everywhere he spinns records. From El-Salavador to Japan, his shows are known for their unexpected diversity and atmosphere which Moshic creates in his 4-5 hour sets. His long awaited studio album "Salamat" took nearly 2 years to record, mix and complete the final touches. The result is an exciting and new approach to prog. house, with strong Middle Eastern influences heard across the entire album. The 2nd CD in this album is a beautiful continuation in a chill out style.
